Those of you who follow me here are possibly aware that I hankered on a dream to be a journalist when I was still at school. Maths was my worst subject at school. I hated the ‘Mole,’ the nickname for our teacher. The name was appropriate. He looked like a mole but where those creatures are cute, he was not. I found out that I would not be accepted for university as a stepping stone to my dream career because of my inability to pass my GCE in Maths.
